Reminder
1. Please ensure you have read the Product Disclosure Statement before joining.
2. Make sure you have considered:
- Your Pension type (Account Based Pension or Transition to Retirement)
- The pension amount and frequency
- Your investment choice
- Your beneficiaries
We will ask you to confirm your choices on the above within the Application Form.
3. Consolidate all of your super first into one account, then use the Transfer In Form to transfer all funds into SMARTpension. This is important because you can only make one deposit to set up your SMARTpension and are unable to make additional contributions to your SMARTpension account once established. The Transfer in Form is included with the Application Form.
4. Also, please send Certified Identification with your Application Form. You can either attach a certified copy of your drivers' licence or passport OR your birth certificate/Centrelink pension card AND a Centrelink payment letter or Government or local council notice with your name and address.
